Recreating Posters

During week 1 of communication design, we worked with Indesign to recreate/create designs of posters inspired by others

After this task I don’t like InDesign. It’s good that I learnt the basic functions of it but I still find it a little complicated to work with and much prefer Photoshop over that
I really like designs 3 through to six because I think they are composed better and have good use of negative space, line and symmetry as well as colour. I like the third poster because its use of colour on something so simple and the use of negative space. I like the fourth poster because of the use of line and line variation to create a patter/design. I also like the niche poster because of its use of rotation and repetition and the sixth poster uses shape, colour and overlapping for its poster. I think that with all of the posters that I have chosen, there is a simplicity about all of them and uses basic functions like colour, overlapping and lines to create effective posters.
